Windows Server boots from a 256 GB volume on Oracle Cloud, so the smaller plans carry more storage than their Linux counterparts.

What you get

Included with every VPS

The same on a ready-made plan and on a machine you size yourself.

Full administrative access

Root on Linux, Administrator on Windows, from the first minute. The machine is yours.

NVMe storage

Every plan boots from NVMe. No spinning disks and no shared throttled tier.

1 Gbps network

A gigabit link on every machine, whatever size you pick.

Automatic provisioning

Provisioning starts the moment the invoice is paid and normally finishes in minutes.

Resize at any time

Change processor and memory from your client area. Storage grows whenever you need more.

Billed in dirhams

Local invoicing in MAD, monthly or yearly. No currency conversion on your side.

How far it goes

The machine you can build

Ready-made plans are four points inside this range. Anything else in it, you can configure yourself.

Processor 2 – 32 vCPU · AMD EPYC
Memory 4 – 256 GB
NVMe storage 50 – 2000 GB
  • Oracle Cloud allocates whole cores, so vCPU come in pairs.
  • Up to 64 GB of memory per core.
  • Storage is sold in 10 GB steps.
  • Windows Server carries a licence charged per core, included in the price shown.
Your stack

Runs what you already use

Two images ship with the machine. With full administrative access, everything else is yours to install.

Where it runs

Hosted in Casablanca, Morocco

Your server runs in Oracle Cloud's af-casablanca-1 region. Your data stays in the country, your latency is domestic, and your invoice is local. One region, and we would rather say so than draw a world map.

What it is for

What people run on it

Websites and web apps

Run your own stack, your own versions, without the limits of shared hosting.

Development and staging

A machine that mirrors production, resized up or down as the project moves.

Application backends

APIs, workers and scheduled jobs, with root access to tune everything.

Databases

Dedicated memory and NVMe, sized to the working set rather than to a plan.

Internal tools

Private services for your team, hosted under your own control in Morocco.

Windows workloads

Windows Server 2025, 2022, 2019 or 2016 — you pick the edition when you order. The licence is included, billed per core with the machine.

How it works

From order to running server

  1. 01

    Choose the machine

Take one of the plans above, or size processor, memory and storage yourself. The price updates before you commit to anything.

  2. 02

    Settle the invoice

Your order is priced in dirhams and invoiced locally, on the billing cycle you picked on this page.

  3. 03

    Connect

Provisioning starts automatically once payment clears. Your credentials appear in the client area as soon as the machine is running.

Before you order

Questions worth answering first

How long until the server is ready?

Provisioning starts as soon as the invoice is paid and normally completes in a few minutes. Your credentials appear in the client area the moment the machine is running.

Can I change plan later?

Yes. Upgrades and downgrades are available from the client area and adjust processor and memory. Storage can grow but never shrinks, because Oracle Cloud cannot reduce a boot volume, so a downgrade keeps your current disk and your data.

Why does Windows cost more than Linux?

Oracle Cloud charges a Windows Server licence per core, on top of the machine itself. That licence is included in the prices above, and the breakdown in the configurator shows exactly how much of the price it represents.

Which version of the operating system do I get?

You choose it when you order. Linux plans offer Ubuntu 24.04 or 22.04 LTS; Windows plans offer Windows Server 2025, 2022, 2019 or 2016, all Standard edition. Whichever you pick, you receive the most recent image Oracle Cloud publishes for that version, applied when your server is created, so you start fully patched.

One caveat on Windows Server 2016: Microsoft ended its extended support in January 2027, so it receives no further security updates. We keep offering it because some applications require it, but pick a newer edition unless you have a specific reason not to.

What do the backups and the extra storage actually give me?

Extra storage is a second NVMe volume attached alongside the system disk — separate from it, so it survives a rebuild of the machine. It starts at 50 GB, which is Oracle Cloud's minimum, and can be enlarged later but never shrunk.

Backups are Oracle Cloud's own volume backup policies, kept outside the server. Bronze copies your disk monthly, Silver weekly and monthly, Gold daily — each with a full yearly copy kept for five years. You choose both on the next step, right after picking a plan, and they are set up automatically once your server is running.

Where is the server hosted?

In Oracle Cloud's af-casablanca-1 region, in Morocco. Your data stays in the country and you are billed locally, in dirhams.
